This was the first time for me at the Donington Historic Festival and oh boy what a weekend this was. Organised by Historic Promotions which also create some other great events like the upcoming Flywheel Festival so go and check them out.

Anyway lets talk about the weekend… Full throttle! That’s the only way to summarise what went on over the 3 days at the gorgeous setting of Donington Park race track.

Over 16 races (plus qualifications) with machinery ranging from pre-50 Grand Prix cars through Historic Formula 2 all the way up to pre-91 Touring and Super Touring cars. Let’s say there was something for everyone. What’s special about this event that it’s no nonsense adrenaline fuelled highly competitive racing in some of the rarest and most beautiful classic and vintage cars in the world.

The event was so packed with different cars and races that it gave me no choice but make this gallery super long. So there you have it… You’ve been warned. Enjoy!
